It's not whether we raise or cut taxes, it's our SPENDING. Though we do need to cut taxes, the income tax that is. Don't tax production (which leads to savings, investments, capital), tax consumption, when people SPEND their money. We the people need the money to spend, not the government, they are spending money we don't have. Printing more money, spending money we don't have, is what causes inflation, a deficit, the value of the dollar to shrink, etc.. Without all of this, the overall economy is better off, thus helping the middle class out!
